About Our Signature Preflats

The Signature Preflat is the original Scrunchy Bums product, hand made by the owner. Preflats are essentially a combination of a pre-fold and a flat. Made of 2-3 layers of absorbent material, you tri-fold the bottom portion, pull the wings tight over babies hips, and secure the wings with either a Snappi, a boingo, or a diaper pin.

Preflats provide 360 absorption, making them great for naps and bed time! They are NOT waterproof and require a cover, either PUL, fleece, (or combo PUL/fleece), or wool. However, it is possible to allow cover free time at home.

Shipping & TAT

Turn around time (TAT) is the time it takes from the moment you place an order, until the order has been shipped. TAT's vary based on multiple factors, please check the item name for current TAT. Please keep in mind that Scrunchy Bums is a small mama owned business. In-stock and ready to ship items have a faster TAT, while made to order / custom made items have a longer TAT. 

Shipping cost is calculated based on weight with options available at checkout. Orders over $100 pre-tax ship for free! 

Pre-orders

Each preorder set will have the expected shipment date listed in the description, this is the timeframe that the completed products are expected to ship to you. Pre-order ship time can range from 6-10 weeks, please read the description of the item you are ordering. If the ETA is not met, you will have the option via email to receive a full refund or wait for the updated ETA.

Pre-orders can not be cancelled, but will fit into our regular return policy once received. if you have issues with your purchase such as wrong item or defect, please reach out to the Scrunchy Bums Business Page on Facebook or email scrunchycustomerservice@gmail.com.

Please do not combine pre-orders with in stock or made to order items, or combine pre-order rounds. If you choose to combine pre-order items with other items, your order will not ship until ALL items are ready, and we cannot guarantee all items will still be in stock by the time the pre-order is ready. We cannot guarantee the ability to separate orders if pre-order and in stock items are combined. 

Materials

Our pre-flats are made from a combination of domestic & imported materials, we typically use cotton & bamboo! You can find exact material content of each individual item in the description.

Returns & Exchanges

Due to the nature of our products, we cannot accept returns of products that have been washed or worn. (if you find an issue with your product after use, please reach out to the Scrunchy Bums Business page on Facebook or email scrunchycustomerservice@gmail.com) Clothing must still have all original hang tags attached. 

If there is an issue with you order (shipping problem, wrong item, defect, etc.), please reach out to scrunchycustomerservice@gmail.com or reach out to the Scrunchy Bums Business Page on Facebook. Any fabric or missing item issues must be reported to Scrunchy Bums within 30 days of package delivery date.

Regular returns are accepted within 7 days of receipt, please reach out to scrunchycustomerservice@gmail.com with your order number, and which items you'd like to return. Return shipping is not covered, and original shipping cost is non-refundable. Full refunds of product cost & applicable tax (minus 20% restocking fee) will be issued within 3-5 business days upon receipt and inspection of the return.
